OSU-Tulsa Researchers Take Ideas from the Lab to the Marketplace. Aside from state-of-the art laboratories, a clean room for device fabrication and advanced testing equipment, the 123,000-square-foot facility provides access to the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology, Oklahoma Small Business Development Center, OSU Inventor’s Assistance Service and the OSU New Product Development Center.

“Our researchers are among the best in the world and they value collaboration with our industry partners,” Singh said. “We work with several clients in providing research and development assistance and guidance in obtaining grants and financing to support their projects.”

An example of the university’s work with local companies is its collaboration with Infinite Composites Technologies. OSU-Tulsa signed a facility use agreement with the start-up company in the fall of 2015. The pact provided ICT access to the HRC’s Next Generation Materials Lab as well as a research partnership with Dr. Ranji Vaidyanathan, Varnadow professor of materials science and engineering.
