Provide the (functional) Quality leadership to ensure that ICT maintains and strengthens its current quality assurance program through AS9100 or any additional accreditations the Company may pursue through both compliance monitoring and management of the audit and documentation processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for and lead part of the annual audit and close out findings in the allotted timeframe.
  • Maintain the engineering Quality Manual. Ensure the company’s Quality Policy is understood throughout the facility and that appropriate data is collected to support performance to the policy.
  • Participate in quarterly management review meetings of the QMS, track performance metrics, and implement resulting corrective actions.
  • Assist with maintaining the quality records system.
  • Conduct internal department audits and external audits of suppliers/vendors.
  • Maintain document control system, including: work instructions, internal procedures, training records, tooling drawings, customer drawings/specifications, and industry/military standards.
  • Partner with manufacturing team to ensure work instructions is properly documented and projects are controlled through QMS.
  • Assist with customer interaction with regard to onsite audits, desk surveys, material returns, corrective actions and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with process engineering and manufacturing teams to identify root cause of quality issues. Execute product quality improvements through preventive or corrective actions.
  • Assist with identifying and the control of nonconforming material and parts.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing personnel and other departments, as needed.

  • Directly reports from Structural Analysis Engineer
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering degree, or
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of college/university coursework AND 2 years of relevant work experience, or
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of quality management, compliance or audit experience.
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings.
  • Previous experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success defining and auditing quality system controls.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Technical background, with ability to think strategically, understand consumer/customer requirements and make sure they're met through ICT's QMS system.
  • Planning, prioritization and project management competencies.
  • Ability to excel in a team atmosphere of creativity, risk taking and delivering results.
  • Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; willingness to learn G-Suite.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain US DoD Clearance.
  • Ability to meet International Trade and Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
  • Eligible to work in US.
