JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and improving the business processes and systems that enable ICT to design, build, and manufacture the most advanced pressure vessels in the world. This engineer seeks to eliminate inefficiencies and constantly questions the status quo while improving data integrity and product reliability.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, procedures and policies needed for nonconforming parts, configuration management, manufacturing and assembly, product traceability, reusability and maintenance, and other critical equipment/production systems.
  • Develop requirements and processes for improvements to existing and new systems.
  • Act as subject matter expert in multiple ICT processes and systems, enabling complex data gathering, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
  • Develop standardized processes for the Production and Quality managers.
  • Develop, review, and approve procedures ensuring completeness, accuracy, regulatory and customer compliance, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and execute training and communication plans during major process changes.
  • Collaborate across disciplines including Engineering, Production, Testing, Supply Chain, Customer Contracts, and Management to ensure efficiency and consistency across the organization.

  • Reports to Systems Engineer
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering degree, or
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of college/university coursework AND 2 years of relevant work experience, or
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 5-8 years of new product development experience.
  • Previous experience managing and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Technical background, with ability to think strategically, understand market dynamics and consumer/customer insights and leverage them into new product concepts.
  • Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies.
  • Understanding of product margins/financials and significant analytical ability.
  • Ability to excel in a team atmosphere of creativity, risk taking and delivering results.
  • Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be proficient in G-Suite programs; AutoCAD, Inventor, and Fusion360.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain US DoD Clearance.
  • Ability to meet International Trade and Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
