Overall responsibilities are to support engineering and production for purchases of complex, highly engineered, machined components to manufacture ICT products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Candidate will be able to:

  • Create Engineering Drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  • Prepare ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) quotes for clients
  • Work with suppliers to source commonly available parts and components
  • Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment to assist in developing new technologies related to the pressure vessel industry market
  • Develop new analytical capabilities in support of commercial products and processes
  • Simultaneously operate a variety of analytical instruments to test formulated material properties
  • Material testing: including thermal stability, composition and mechanical properties
  • Assist customers with process optimization and new applications
  • Work with internal customers in answering technical questions
  • Document experimental work, including writing standard test methods and technical reports
  • Work safely and promote a safe work environment
  • Formal training in general laboratory procedures
  • Problem solving (math/science) skills and familiarity with statistical methods of analysis
  • Initiative and the ability to work in a team setting. Clear and effective written and oral communication is essential
  • Needs to be familiar with various test standards
  • Needs to be familiar with Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Google G-Suite and MS Office
  • General computer experience including relevant software knowledge such as Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Pressure vessel knowledge including fatigue and stress rupture life would be preferred
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Engineering design experience
  • Experience reading datasheets, drawings, and blueprints
  • Proven track record of leadership and team-building skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and skills in current technologies and applications, i.e. MS Office Suite
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment
  • Conducts all activities with the highest of integrity

Additional Requirements:
  • Able to travel for short and extended trips as needed
  • Able to work long hours and weekends as needed
