Design, develop and implement systems to improve processes as they relate to ICT's manufacturing by focusing on creating more efficient and effective solutions for creating new or existing products. This position works with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute integrated test plans for aerospace, space, and transportation platforms. This position requires application of skills and experience to leverage standards, best practices, and established processes to adapt and create specific processes and methods for a specific platform. This position will closely coordinate with hardware suppliers, systems engineering and customers to ensure testing requirements are identified, incorporated into the design, generate and coordinate necessary test facility requirements, conduct complex subsystem and integrated tests, and process and archive test data.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Generation, allocation, traceability and verification of system and sub-system requirements.
  • System design.
  • Design documentation generation, such as system engineering management plans, system requirement documents, interface control documents, interface design descriptions, integration plans, verification and test plans, test reports, etc.
  • System integration and verification.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop a comprehensive test plans and procedures
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure testing compliance and test flow, from components to integrated space vehicle assembly
  • May lead or coordinate a team of test engineers in the development of methods, processes and test plans
  • Define test facilities and floor space requirements
  • Lead preparation and execution of the program Test Readiness Review (TRR)
  • Execute integrated product tests and perform data reduction
  • May lead or coordinate resolution of test issues
  • Risk Management and Analysis.
  • Generation of Performance Specifications and Statements of Work (SOW) for subcontracted design and development.
  • Experience with configuration management and requirement tools.
  • Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces.
  • Ability to generate and present engineering status at technical interchange meetings and design reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. Engineering degree, or
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of college/university coursework AND 2 years of relevant work experience, or
  • 4 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of systems and test development experience.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Technical background, with ability to think strategically, understand market dynamics and consumer/customer insights and leverage them into new product concepts.
  • Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies.
  • Ability to excel in a team atmosphere of creativity, risk taking and delivering results.
  • Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; willingness to learn G-Suite.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain US DoD Clearance.
  • Ability to meet International Trade and Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours per day and 5 days per week.  Willing to work all required shifts hours, overtime and weekends, if required.
